Description

Among many important applications, quantum computing provides a potential path forward for simulating the dynamics of quantum many-body systems relevant for fundamental physics that cannot be addressed using classical computing alone.  I will discuss areas that I have been working on related to future simulations of field theories and understanding quantum resources requirements for quantum many-body systems, including nuclei, neutrinos and field theories. The latter is in an effort to estimate requirements for fault-tolerant/error-corrected simulations as we move out of the NISQ-era.
