Description

I will discuss recent lattice results on heavy quark potential and heavy quark diffusion coefficient in quark gluon plasma based on highly improved staggered quark action and large lattices.
The lattice calculations used lattices with spatial extent 96 and temporal extent ranging from 20 to 36, and lattice spacing a=0.028 fm, covering the temperature range from 180 MeV to 350 MeV.
